About the Recipe

The Bread Samosa Recipe is a fun twist on the regular samosa. Instead of making dough, I use bread slices. I cut the bread into triangles and use water to stick the pieces together. This simple trick makes the Bread Samosa Recipe easy to fold and seal.

For the filling in the Bread Samosa Recipe, I use mashed boiled potatoes and green peas. I add a special spice mix made from toasted cumin, coriander, fennel, and black pepper. I also add a pinch of turmeric, red chili powder, and a little citric acid or amchur for a tangy taste. Finally, I mix in chopped coriander and paneer. This filling makes the Bread Samosa Recipe very tasty.

Cooking Tips

One important tip for the Bread Samosa Recipe is to use water to stick the bread slices together. This helps the samosas stay sealed while frying. I always sprinkle a little water on the bread before folding.

Another tip for the Bread Samosa Recipe is to check the oil temperature. The oil should be medium hot. If the oil is too cold, the bread will soak up too much oil. If it is too hot, the Bread Samosa Recipe may burn. I fry the samosas for 3-4 minutes until they are golden and crispy.

Also, I make sure the filling in the Bread Samosa Recipe is not too wet. I cook the filling until it starts to stick to the pan. This way, the filling stays inside the Bread Samosa Recipe without making the bread soggy.

Pairing Guide

The Bread Samosa Recipe goes well with many sides. I like to serve it with a mint-coriander chutney or tamarind chutney. The tangy chutney makes the Bread Samosa Recipe even more delicious.

You can also enjoy the Bread Samosa Recipe with a hot cup of masala chai. A glass of buttermilk or a cold drink works well with the Bread Samosa Recipe too.
