  • 1 inch Cinnamon Stick

  • 2-3 Bay Leaves

  • 12-13 Cloves

  • 3-4 Dry Red Chillies

  • 4 Green Cardamom Pods

  • 1 1/2 cups Onion, chopped

  • 1 1/2 cups Tomatoes, chopped

  • 1/4 cup Mustard Oil

  • 2 tbsp Chopped Coriander

  • 2 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste

  • 1/2 inch Ginger

  • 15-20 Garlic Cloves

  • 3-4 Green Chillies

  • 1/2 tbsp Turmeric Powder

  • Water, as required

  • 1 tbsp Salt

Ingredients for Boiled Rice

  • 1 cup Rice

  • 2 cups Water

Dry Roast Spices:
Heat a pan and dry roast cumin seeds, coriander seeds, black peppercorns, cloves, dry red chillies, and cinnamon stick until fragrant.

Grind Spices:
Transfer the roasted spices to a mortar and pestle or a mixer grinder. Add garlic cloves, ginger, and a little water. Grind into a fine paste. Set aside.

Heat Mustard Oil:
