Method:
For the Stock:
- In a cooking pot, add water, sliced onions, roughly chopped carrots, French beans, crushed garlic, bay leaves, and peppercorns.
- Cover the pot and bring it to a boil until the vegetables are almost mushy.
For the Soup:
- In a separate pan, melt butter and sauté chopped garlic.
- Add finely chopped carrots and beans to the pan.
