  • 2 tbsp mustard oil
  • 1 tbsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder

First Marination:

  • 1 tsp roasted garlic paste
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp hung curd

Second Marination:

  • 1 tbsp achar masala
  • 2 tbsp hung curd

Third Marination:

  • A pinch of black pepper powder (for paneer marination)
  • ½ tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tbsp refined oil
  • ¼ tsp kasuri methi powder
  • ½ tsp fennel powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp hung curd
  • 1 tbsp fresh cream

Common Ingredients:

  • 250 gm paneer
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 pinch red chili powder
  • ½ tsp lemon juice
  • Green capsicum, diced
  • Onion, diced

 

 

Method:

 

  1. In a pan, prepare the base for the first and second marination by mixing mustard oil, red chili powder, and turmeric powder. Divide the mixture equally into 2 bowls.

  2. Marinate the paneer in three different plates using the common marination ingredients. Add black pepper powder to one of the marinations.

  3. For the first marination: In a bowl with the mustard base, mix roasted garlic paste, hung curd, and salt. Coat one portion of the pre-marinated paneer evenly.

  4. For the second marination: In a bowl with the mustard base, mix achar masala and hung curd. Coat one portion of the pre-marinated paneer evenly.

  5. For the third marination: In a bowl, mix all the ingredients mentioned under the third marination. Coat one portion of the pre-marinated paneer (with black pepper powder) evenly.

  6. Skewer the marinated paneer along with diced capsicum and onion. Cook one batch in the oven by brushing it with oil and baking at 180 degrees Celsius for about 10-12 minutes. Cook the other batch on a grill pan greased with oil. Once cooked, serve hot.
